Creating learning paths based on test results

Hi guys,

Brand new Storyline user here. We've got a fairly large collection of e-learning courses, built in custom software, that I'm looking to recreate.

A couple of the existing courses start with a comprehensive test. Based on the results of that quiz, the navigation is updated with coloured dots indicating which parts the learner has already mastered and which chapters he still needs to work through. This isn't perfect, but is does give them a customized learning path of sorts.

How would you go about recreating something like that in Storyline?
