I've created a custom navigation bar that disappears from the quiz slides when I click on the Review Course button on my Results slide. However, the custom bar is there throughout the course, even after I click on the Review Quiz button. So, my question is, how do I keep my custom navigation bar from disappearing from the quiz slides when the learner chooses to review the entire course?
I'm a bit confused - you mentioned clicking on the review course button - is that different than your review quiz button, as in one scenario you're seeing it and the other you're not? The review layer that is a part of quiz questions and built in, so it would take over any other layers or elements that may be showing in that bottom section and showcase the "incorrect/correct" feedback if you enabled that. If you want to customize that layer further you could use this article as a starting point for what you'd update/change.
Yes, they are two separate buttons. The "Quiz Review" button takes you back to just the questions, and the "Course Review" takes you back to the beginning of the course. I put the custom navigation in the review layer in all the quiz slides, and I think that's why it appears when I click on the "Quiz Review" button. However, I don't understand why it seems like that same review layer is deactivated when I want to review the course after I've already taken the quiz. And, thank you, I did see that article you pointed me to, but unfortunately it not help.
Yes, if you place elements in the review layer they'll appear as a part of the Quiz review. The review layer is only shown when using the trigger to review the quiz based on the results slide - so you may need to add that trigger to your course review button as well and ensure where it jumps to in terms of revisiting the beginning of the course. If you're still having difficulty we're happy to take a look at the .story file here.
in the player you have no bottom controls set so there is no room allocated to show the Prev/Next buttons. Select the Volume button then you will see the nav buttons on review
Yes ,I realized this and added the 'volume' control. That is why I took away my posting. Thanks again for jumping in to my rescue. I have used some authoring systems but never got such a wonderful support.
Thanks,
Indrani
Sorry I didn't refresh my screen when I posted to see you had removed the post...never mind - it may help someone else in the future. All the best Indrani :-)
