I'm trying to create a hotspot that opens a window within the layer, similar to a marker window, i.e., one that allows me to add text, video, or images.
Could you share a little bit more about what you're outcomes are?
My first thought is that you add your object, say a shape, start it in the hidden state and then add a trigger to your hotspot to change the state to normal when the mouse is hovered over (see attached). This wouldn't work with video though since you can't have the video start in a hidden state. In that case, you could do the same thing, but instead, show a layer (where the video resides) on mouse over. You just need to make sure you have layer properties set so that more than one layer can show at a time.
