CUT/PASTE anomaly in closed caption editor Jan 09, 2019 By Sam Carter This is minor but inconsistent: Replacing the text of an existing closed caption: - Select all the text in the closed caption - Paste the new text - The new text is incorrectly added to the end of the existing text. In any other application it will replace the selected text. It is necessary to first delete the text then paste the new text. Minor inconsistency. Sam

I saw it added to the beginning of the caption - but still keeping the old text as you shared. I'll report this to my team. In the meantime, after you highlight it press your delete key first and then you can paste in the new text.
