hello,we use stories on different laptops. sometimes
we notice that a story act different. for example answer options are placed not in line any more, font size differs. as it is randomly i can reproduce it. anyone same experience?
I'm not sure why this would be happening but there are a few things you could check.
Do all three laptops have the most recent Storyline update (update 3) installed?
Are you working from your local harddrive? As working from shared network drives can cause problems.
Are all three laptops using the correct DPI settings? (96 DPI)
And finally, when viewing the projects do you have the story view set to 100% (anything other than this can cause text to move and resize during editing)
thanks for the reply. It is all checked and I done. We have 3 developers. We all can work on a project. Designer, content developer etc. We use a document management system (Subversion) You make a local copy on your hard drive with a connection to the dms. when you change the story file you update the file.
In that case it might be worth submitting a support case to see if the techies have any further ideas. When contating them it is a good idea to provide as much info as possible and confirm you've checked settings etc.
