Hi, I am having problems with a 'Try Again' feedback layer showing when the click to the hotspot to move to the next screen is selected. This happens when I use a Textentry question, and not on the other hotspot questions. I think this is because the slide trigger to show the 'Try Again' feedback layer comes before the hotspot trigger, but I am unable to move the hotspot trigger to come before the slide trigger. Is there anything I can do to change this? Many thanks. Linda Welch
I assume from looking at your Try Again layer that you are only interested in the layer being shown when the user either enters an incorrect amount or fails to enter anything in the dose space. To achieve this, all you need to do is to add a condition to your Show layer Try Again trigger such that it only activates if the text entry does not equal 75:
Now, whenever the user enters the correct figure and then selects Oral, the Try Again layer will not appear.
Hi Ned, Thank you for your help. I have made these changes to the triggers but I am having the same problem. It is only with the text entry slides, 1.2 and 1.6. I want the try again layer to show when the user clicks outside the text entry box. They have to enter the correct dose to move onto the next slide. I think the reason is that it is a slide trigger, rather than a hotspot or text entry trigger, so it comes first, but I am unable to move it, or get the trigger to show on the text entry field. I have attached a new file with the triggers as you have suggested. Again, many thanks for your help with this. Linda
In each of your trigger conditions you have used "equal to" instead of "not equal to". If you make the necessary change, it should hopefully work okay.
