Dongle Trouble and delivering mobile learning

Hello--

I'm creating courses in SL2. Our LMS is Cornerstone On Demand, and we use a streaming media service called Kontiki.

All of our elearning plays beautifully on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. 

Now, it must all play on Samsung TVs, from the tablet, through Samsung AllShare Cast Dongle. And, good news—it does! However, it only works perfectly through Chrome 39.

This is where I run into trouble. We are required to ensure that this setup works on Chrome 33.

While the course plays just fine on the TV, the sound will only go through the tablet. Again, it works as it should in 39, but not in 33.

You're probably thinking, why don't they just upgrade to 39? You'd think that would be the most direct route to success. I'd think that too, but…it's complicated.

Is anyone out there even touching this sort of thing in their training departments? I'd love to hear what anyone knows about ANY dongle and what workarounds you've come up with.
