Down State! Down! Good State!

I'm noticing if I create a new down state ... then nudge it's position down 2 - 10 pixels or so ... *to get the desired "press" effect* ... this position change doesn't register - When using "New State" or "Duplicate State"
But, if I then go into "Down" while editing states, and cut the button and paste it back into place; its position change is registered when publishing. Strange indeed.
Of course, to make my work all the more enjoyable, when pasting to get this to work, the outline changes to 3 pixels and the font changes to text shadow and black.
What's going on here?

Good Morning, Ryan.
Indeed, kudos on the thread title!
This behavior sounds a little fishy, and I think we'd probably like to investigate it further. Would you mind submitting a Support Case and including a copy of your .story file so that we can try to reproduce the problem? Thanks!
Here's the problem and a workaround ...

Thanks for submitting a Support Case, Ryan.
It looks like Jayem has taken this one by the horns, and I will keep an eye on it as well. Thanks again!
