Hi, I have created a free-form drag and drop slide in which I have added feedback to the drop-correct/incorrect states.
This works fine when using the built in Player Submit button.
However, I need to produce the same effect with a Submit button on the actual slide rather than the player and when i assign the submit interaction the correct/incorrect states don't display.
Thanks Phil, I tried setting up triggers on the feedback layers. However, I'm not sure how to create a trigger that will change the state of an abject depending on the outcome of where it has been dragged?
It starts to get a bit complex, in effect you need to change the state (to a copy of the normal state, you need a correct and incorrect) using a trigger when you drop the object, and then add triggers to change to your drop correct/incorrect based on those states, the other choice is to use variables.
Thanks Phil, do you have an example of an interaction that uses triggers to change states in a similar way that my interaction does? I can easily turn all the states to correct (or incorrect) but not sure, form what you suggested above, how to change them to the appropriate state dependent on drop zone.
I noticed if i uncheck "Delay item drop states until interaction is submitted" my states change as they are dropped over. However this is not the behavior I was hoping to use.

This is a known issue using custom submit
You will need to add triggers for the state changes

Is this possible?
Cheers
