Drag and Drop Quiz question issue

Jun 28, 2013

A drag and drop quiz question does not score accurately.  When I respond to the question, it correctly tells me that I have answered correctly, and gives the correct feedback.  But when I view my results, it displays the responses as incorrect, even though they are correct.  See attached picture.  This occurs when using my iPad, and also when accessing through my pc browser.  Any suggestions?

Hi there Karen!

First, can you tell me what revisiting settings you're using on the question slides? If you haven't already, you might want to try setting it to "Resume saved state" - it looks like the questions are being marked incorrectly because the course is resetting the slide that contains the question.

If you have any trouble with this, you're welcome to share the .STORY file here. I'd be happy to take a look.

Thanks!

I did a live chat with someone from Articulate support, and provided them with the .story file.  We tried adding a unique character to each of the items in the choice area of the question.  I republished to Articulate online, and we both continued to have the same problem.  The question is actually being marked correctly while in the course.  If I answer the question correctly, it scores the correct response as correct, and gives me the correct feedback.  But when I revisit my responses, it tells me that I missed that question.

With that said, I went back to the revised file and also changed the setting per your suggestion.  Then I tested once more, and it does seem to have fixed the problem.  I will test further with our tablets.  Thanks so much!
