Drag And Drop Scoring - How do I score my drag and drop exercise?

Oct 23, 2023

Hello, I am trying to create a single slide drag and drop with ten answers (parts of speech) without feedback but scored with a required passing score of 80%.

When I get all 10 correct, I get a passing grade, but when I get 9/10 I get zero points and fail. I have tried to look up a tutorial or example that included instructions for a point per answer, but no luck and I can't recall how to put this one together. Help.

Example attached.

Thank you.

Hello Tyler!

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing your project file! Drag-and-drop questions, like other quiz slides, are scored as a whole. This explains why you must correctly get all ten drag items to get credit for that interaction. If the learner only gets 9 out of 10, that is considered an incorrect response.

There is no built-in way to set up individual scores per drag item. Hopefully, someone in the community can chime in and help you with your design.

I'd like to follow up on this discussion to let you know that I've included your voice in a feature request to allow partial scoring for drag-and-drop interactions. We'll let you know once it makes it to the feature roadmap. In the meantime, here are related discussions from the community that you may find helpful!
