Hello, I am trying to develop an interaction where the learner positions a "window" shape over an object to select it and go to it's layer. Any ideas about how to do this? Thanks!
There's quite a few ways you could accomplish this. Do you need to have the object selected, though?
If so, what you could do is have the state of the object change to "Selected" when the window shape is dropped on the object. You could also trigger this state to show the new layer.
Here's how you could set this up:
And here's an example of how this would work (please keep in mind it's very quick - nothing fancy!):
