Editing/Confidentializing Data after Recording

Feb 24, 2015

I'm in the process of creating a Storyline project where we have captured the software procedure for entering data into an application. The data is about a real person and we want to confidentialize the data displayed during the video on a single slide and the step-by-step View Mode. We also want to have the students use Try Mode to enter ficticious data. Is there an easy way to accomplish this by editing the slides?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Ashley,

No. I had not seen the article. Thanks.

It looks like it should work for changing the acceptable answers in Try Mode and Test Mode, as well as masking the information in Video.

I doesn't look like I can access and change the "typed in information" in View Mode. Will I need to mask the old data in the field and and then reveal the new info in a text box in View Mode?
