I created a screen recording video, and there are a couple times where there is long loading times. I am hoping there is a way to cut out some of that dead time where nothing happens. If there isn't a way in Storyline, is there a way to take this screen recording out of the program and edit it somewhere else for free? I only have Storyline, Replay, and Photoshop (which I don't think has video editing).
Storyline only allows you to trim from the beginning and the end, so what I've done before, is make a duplicate of the video on a few other slides, and then edit those portions (beginning and end) for the middles I want to keep, and then string the individual components back together. I realize it's not super efficient, but if it's the only editing tool you have...
Some community members may know other free, video editing/tools out there - so I hope they're able to chime too.
The try mode output is created based on Storyline's screen recording and capturing the individual clicks and actions you took while recording. It won't pick up those items from a video you've inserted - so you'll want to look at recording those individual pieces with Storyline directly.

Are people able to take edited, pieced up videos from storyline and still create try mode output?
