Enter text on different slides & compile all entries in document

Aug 13, 2012

Okay, I saw a post similar to my question, but I didn't get the information I needed from the responses.

I have a module that discusses each Discipline in the 8D process. For each Discipline, I have a link to a "pitfalls" lightbox and to a "tips" lightbox. What I would like to do is insert a text entry box for each pitfalls slide and each tip slide...asking the participant to enter what they think a pitfall or a good tip would be for that step. Then, I would like to be able to take all of these entries (from different slides) and show them all on one "final" slide and give the participant the option to print out or save the list. Make sense? Can it be done in Storyline?

Thanks,

Dave

Each text entry box has an associated variable.  All you need to do on the "final" slide is insert "references" to those variables into text boxes on the slide.  (Insert menu).  You'll need to do a fair amount of testing to make sure that the answers fit well on the page, especially considering that you won't know how long they'll be.

Provide instructions for the student to press Ctrl + P on their keyboard or use the Print menu in their browser to print the screen.
