Erratic Text Formatting Behavior

I just installed a fresh install of Storyline 360 on my work laptop and went to get started on a template for a project I am working on. I am working in Master View, but whenever I attempt to modify any text placeholder the font will revert to the default, Open Sans. Sometimes it will change in the font dialogue, stating that it's Open Sans, other times it will say that it is still my selected font, but it will display Open Sans. Once it has reverted to Open Sans, it will not visibly change back to the desired typeface but can be changed to other fonts not previously selected in the project.
I also found that nudging the title placeholders occasionally added an outline and fill to the title box.
I am working from the local hard drive and have already run through the steps to uninstall and reinstall with UAC turned off.

Tested the problem on my home computer, same problem occurs.
Solved my own problem, in a manner, by using Theme fonts. Still a very curious set of behaviors. If I wanted to have multiple type combinations, would I have to create multiple masters to source the layouts from?
Hi there, Dana. That behavior is odd, I agree. On my Windows 10 machine, I was able to successfully change the slide master placeholder font and move the title box slightly without those issues occurring.
You've done all of the recommended troubleshooting, so it doesn't sound like it's a buggy installation. I want to try to get as close to your setup as possible to test further. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your .story file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
To clarify: I can adjust the slide master just fine, the problem occurs when I attempt to adjust a layout attached to that clean master.
This problem is actually occurring on every file that I create, not a specific file. I'd be happy to send you a file, but I'm including a video clip demonstrating the issue as well.
