This is my first stab at Storyline. Trying it import powerpoint slides. It has been "importing" for about 30 minutes. Any suggestions? Troubleshooting? Help.
Indeed it takes quite some time to import slides from PPT.
My record is almost 2.5 hours, but hen I tried to import over 650 slide...
So be patient, eventually your slides will get imported.
Of course, all depends how complex your PPT slides are...
What I learned is not to import all slides at once and then copy/paste them in scenes, but import them scene by scene, cherry picking th slides that need t go into one scene....
It is a bit more labour intensive yet it is more rewarding.
If you're not sure whether you have a Click-to-Run version of Microsoft Office 2010, you can verify this by going to File > Help in PowerPoint 2010. You'll see Click-to-Run product information if you have a Click-to-Run version of Office installed.

I am using 32 bit powerpoint, so that is good. How do I know if it is click to run?
Hi Margo,
you lost me there, click to run ?

Storyline won't work with PP click to run versions.
