Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone has found a solution to this yet. I uploaded a module to my WordPress website and I tried both opening it in a new window and in the same window and it still won't work. I use Chrome and Firefox. It works fine on my mobile and in Microsoft Edge.

Additionally, be sure to test your Storyline 3 content in another Web Server or LMS, such as Amazon S3 and SCORM Cloud, to ensure everything is working as expected within the course. Keep us posted!
Due to security issues there are issues closing a window in Chrome and FireFox.
What i've done with storyline courses in WordPress is directed the user to another WordPress page. For instance an overview page. You can do this with a simple go to url/file trigger
Hi Phil, thanks for your reply! My understanding was that it would just close the browser window - and indeed that is what it does in Edge and in mobile Chrome. So I don't think it's a WordPress issue. But I used the solution suggested by Mark and it's perfect!

Thank you for the resources Katie! I will have a look.
Actually, when I uploaded it to tempshare it did the same thing.
The exit course button is intended to close a new window in an LMS, probably will not work in Wordpress

Mark, you are THE BEST! That's exactly the kind of workaround I was hoping for. Being a complete newbie, I would never have thought of that. Thanks!

Hi Dana,
Good to hear my solution worked for you! good luck with your module :-)
Not a wordpress issue just unreliable outside of an LMS. Glad to hear you have found a solution.
