Extra X button and how to delete it

Hi 

I am using a file I downloaded from a generous developer from here that has some great work in it.  However it has a X button to close the scenes I downloaded (in top right of the page) in the actual 4 slides I'm using from them. The rest of the project is advanced by the NEXT > button.  (which is what I want to be uniform across the whole project). 

The 4 slides in question I downloaded now have two ways to advance on these 4 slides, the X the other developer inserted and the NEXT > button I have used. Only the X one currently works.  I want to delete the X, however I cannot see where it is located to delete it.

Can anyone provide some answers where the heck I can find the pesty X button to delete please.   I have attached a snip of the page - its the top right hand X
