Flash Player Preventing Storyline Opening
May 15, 2016
Hi there
I'm trying to launch Storyline (having not done so for a very long time) and i get a message telling that "flash player 10 or higher for Internet Explorer is required to run Articulate Storyline."
It then asks me to go and get it, but when I do I'm told that it's already integrated into internet explorer and windows 10, so I don't need to install it. On top of that, I can see in the settings that it is enabled.
So, I used Firefox to actually get the file and I have installed it. But, the same message appears when I try to launch Storyline. Therefore, I'm unable to use the application because of this. Very frustrating ...
Can anyone help? I'd be extremely grateful.
Thanks
Phil

Hi Phil
in Dec 2015 Adobe released a flash update that upset Storyline.
Are you using the latest SL1 update 10 or SL2 update 8 (depending on which version of SL you are using)?

Hi Wendy
Thanks so much for replying. I'm glad to know that it's a recognised 'thing' and not something that I'm responsible for!
I'll go through the article today.
Thanks again. Much appreciated.
