Font-related issue

Hi everybody,

I'm seeking for help here because we came accross a strange issue when developing a course for a client: we created the course using Arial and uploaded it to a cloud-based area for them to visualise it online. No problem, they saw it fine

The problem came when we sent them the story files. They opened them in their own Articulate (same version as we were using - Articulate Storyline UPDATE 4: 1311.1422) and the font appeared larger in some cases. They published the course and the larger fonts were still there

We have carried out all the tests we could think of and still we see it fine with a consistent font size and they don't. Any clues anyone?

Hi Alfonso and welcome to Heroes!

I've got a couple thoughts here that may help you narrow down the issue...

When you sent them the .story files were they opening and editing them from their local drive? Working off a network or USB could cause some odd behavior in Storyline.
Is their DPI set to 96?

If after checking out both of the above, they're still seeing some odd fonts (you may want to send them the files again to double check) can you share the .story file with us here and I'll see if the behavior persists when I view it?

Hi Ashley,

You're right, they set their DPI to 96 and it works fine now
