... when sharing SL file across 2 machines. Both running W7 and the same SL v1_1.
This is really bugging me now because every time I open any of these files on the "other" machine, different sections of text have changed and have to be re-edited. The main issues are size changes as well as test reverting to Articulate font.
I did a search but didn't find any other threads on this specific flaw, so is anyone else encountering this? Are there any fixes?
Sorry that's happening, Jazzmine! I haven't seen this happen on my end, but I'm happy to help you figure it out.
First, I would check the text box properties to make sure it isn't set to Shrink to Fit. Right-click on the text box itself and select Format Shape. Then click Text Box, and make sure "Shrink text on overflow" is not selected.
I'd like to do some testing for the template font size issue. What version of Storyline are you using? Would you be willing to share your template file with me?
Yes. Something needs to be built in to the startup process that takes care of this. This would be a good item for the development backlog. It is entirely predictable that someone will be working in a multi-monitor environment. This issue is still a problem today.
