I opened a SL2 story in SL3 (and backed up the SL2 version), did a few edits and then previewed. The original used Helvetica 65 medium font (client's request) thorughout. In SL2, the font publishes as intended. In SL3, the font previews and publishes larger and in heavy bold.
I've seen other issues similarly throughout the boards for different fonts, but nothing on Helvetica 65 medium. Is this a bug, or is this the way SL3 is going to handle this and other fonts when importing from previous versions of SL?
Thanks for including those helpful screenshots. Do you notice a difference if you turn on or turn off Modern Text in the Design >> Fonts dropdown menu?
Thank you so much for your response. I just saw it today, when I returned to the discussion boards to see if any one else had the same issue, since I didn't receive your response through email. And there you were!
You are a hero! Yes, this solved the problem in SL3. I did not have "use modern text" selected. Once I selected it, it displayed correctly. In SL2, this option is not displaying, so I didn't even tink to consider it. Was "use modern text" an addition to SL3?

Thank you so much again!
Glad to hear that Alyssa's solution worked well for you, Lisa.
You nailed it! It's a new addition to SL3 and is a feature of Storyline 360 as well.
