Form-style interactions and change of state

Is there a way to change the state of an object if a variable has a particular value when a slide is first displayed (rather than when the value changes)?

In the absence of a form-style quiz question in Storyline, I’d like to create the effect of a form with multiple data entry fields and variables. On completion I’d display textboxes showing the variable values and the correct input alongside. Ideally I’d also like to change the colour of those textboxes displaying the correct values, but can’t see how to achieve this with conditional change of state triggers.

Any ideas from the community would be gratefully received!
