Hi. I am trying to use the format painter to apply the width, height of boxes from one to the next that I made. The width/height do not seem to carry from my original object to my other objects, should it?
Text manipulation, including I suspect the Format Painter has a few unique "features" at present - such as not being able to select individual words within a text box, and use the painting to another word.
If you are not experiencing the "usual" facilities of Format Painting I would submit a Bug to be on the safe side.
IMVHO, not sure if I would classify that as a bug. That may by design.
It may be that Format Painter just applies the formatting. I would not consider size dimensions as part of the "formatting." I can also see scenarios where one would not want the dimensions changed with the Format Painter.
Format painter in ppt does not affect dimensions. Also if you right click on the shape the format menu does not include dimensions these are under size and position.
I believe anything in the format properties will be carried across as well as states

Thank you for your replies. I may submit to see what response I get. Thanks.
I wouldnt expect format painter to carry across width and height, I think this is by design.
A match dimensions button would be nice though
