First time in here. I am having problems (and loosing time) on formatting paragraphs.
I have a paragraph where I customized font colors, size, bullet size and collor and paragraph indentation. I select this paragraph, click on the format painter but not all my customization are copied. Any hint to save me time not having to manually format all slides?
The format painter will copy font size and text color, but you'll have to manually adjust paragraph settings like spacing, indentation, and bullet size. This is similar to the way the format painter button works in PowerPoint.

I'm having similar issues. My format painter (storyline 360, v3.39.22x), does not copy/paste bullet styles. The response above says this is "similar to the way ... this works in PowerPoint", however that's not true for me here. Format painter copies every aspect of bullet style from one bullet item to another elsewhere. I'm struggling because I want to build master slides and copy some prebuilt lists into new placeholder lists without rebuilding them all, and I cannot. All need to be manually rebuilt. I think I'm experiencing a bug. Should not the format painter be able to copy / paste bullet styles?
Currently, Storyline doesn't support bullets on the Slide Master. Beyond that, we're tracking feature requests to include formatted bullets in the text placeholder.
I'll add your vote to that request, as we continue to monitor the impact!
I am trying to use Format Painter and it is just not working. I have watched the training videos and understand how you use it but when I do nothing happens. What I want to do is copy the states from one button to another and it just doesn't work. Is a bug in the software?
I'm sorry to hear the Format Painter tool isn't working! I just tried to copy states from one button to another and was successful in Storyline 360 Update 40.
My teammate shares an excellent gif of how this works in this discussion here! If this isn't what you're seeing, try doing a repair of Storyline 360 to see if it helps!
If you still see the same behavior after repairing, connect with a support engineer, and they'll lend you a hand in figuring out why this is happening.
