I am new to Storyline 2 and practicing on the free templates available. I would like to merge slides/scenes picked up from multiple templates.
I've noticed that a majority of free templates are the ".story" version which unlike the ".storytemplate" do not show/appear in the "Insert Slides" option tab while wanting to insert more new slides/templates.
How do I ensure that the ".story" templates can be accessed from the "Insert Slides" option?

Yes, many times the project file is shared, which is the .story file.
If you wish to save something as a template, you should check out this tutorial here on how to use and save material to be used as a template.
