Using Storyline 1, I'm experimenting with giving users the ability to select a font size themselves but I can't see any way to achieve it - does anyone have any ideas?
there's no automatic option to give user possibility to choose the font size.
But you could cheat a bit inserting for example 3 buttons on the first slide with the font size, let's say 12/14/16. Your content on the next slides should be done in 3 font size versions - 12 points size content, 14 and 16 placed on the layers. Depending which button is clicked on the first slide different layers are displayed.
You'd have to create 3 variables and add some triggers on every slide.
If my explanation is not clear enough have a look at the attachment with short mockup of this example. I hope it helps :)
Drew, there isn't a feature within Storyline to allow this, so you'd need to utilize a method such as the one shared here, and hopefully others will chime in with creative examples!

Hi Joanna, thanks for your help - I'd thought about this for a while, and I'm not sure that I'd ever have thought of this solution!
It works a treat, so thanks again, Drew
Nice solution Joanna!
