Glitches in file uploaded to SharePoint server

Dec 11, 2012

I recently posted a published workshop on a Sharepoint Server, using the publish-to-player process and copying it to the server site for testing and review. There were several anomalies: For some people, the workshop ran perfectly. For others, especially those logging in remotely, there were all kinds of problems: The sound had bumps and skips in it, though the extent of the problem varied from person to person. Logging in from home, I found that none of the synching I'd put in worked: all the text and objects I'd timed-in came in at set intervals that had nothing to do with the settings I'd created (they did retain the right sequence of entry).

Does anyone know why this would happen and what can be done to prevent it?

Hi Carla,

When you are uploading the content to SharePoint, are you doing so in "Explorer View"? Not doing so may result in some issues with uploaded content, similar to what you're experiencing.

You might want to take a look at the information posted in this thread and see if it resolves the problem for you.

Thanks!

Christine
