Thanks. I have made that request. I was wondering how users will be able to keep the information or at least save it once I have the terms/resources placed in the resource and glossary area.
There is not currently a method for them to keep the information outside the Storyline course itself - are you thinking your users won't have access to the course but still may need the resources? you may want to attach a PDF of the glossary as well within the Resources section, and prompt the users to download and save the files upon opening them.

O.k I see this question was over a year ago. I am hoping that in SL 2 Is there a printable option of the glossary?

There is not a printable glossary feature to Storyline yet. You're welcome to also share your thoughts in a feature request!
