In the slide in the attached file w/o a layer the graphics on the base layer are visible in Preview; however, in the same slide with a layer the graphics on the base slide layer are not visible in Preview.
Other problems we have had today with this slide include Preview pulling up old versions of the slide with layers that were since deleted.
Any help with the mystical dilemma would be apprreciated.
Well, it turns out that the answer (after taking many side tracks) was TIFF - TIFF images were imported and caused the above problem; JPG images work just fine
