Having a weird glitch when animating characters to walk
Oct 09, 2018
Hi there,
I found a great source on here to truly animate the characters (by taking them into PowerPoint, basically deconstructing them, and then rebuilding in various positions) https://vimeo.com/209119468.
However, I found that when I deconstruct the characters (they must get imported and converted to a Microsoft Office drawing object)the character gets dark rings around their eyes. Nothing else seems to change. Does anyone know an easy workaround (other than selecting a character that wears glasses - which hides the effect slightly :-))?
I have added a picture so you can see the effect.
Thank you!

Make sure the character is fully ungrouped...probably have to do it twice. Then select all objects and turn off the line color in the format options. For some reason, PowerPoint creates the black lines for some vectors when they're ungrouped. You'll need to turn off the line color twice.
Thank you! That makes a lot of sense. I will try that!
Thank you, Tom!
That did the trick (and yes, it has to be done twice).
