Help! 1st time user- i need the course to show complete once finished

Jan 12, 2018

Hi Everyone

This is my first project developing in Storyline 3 and I have an urgent deadline today to finish.

I have put a button on the last page, so that when they click it, it should exit the course. Is there another stage I need to put in that shows the course is complete when they click the button? The course is still showing up as incomplete when they have finished it/ come to the end of the timeline.

Many thanks!

Nicole

Nicole,

It's going to depend how you are publishing. If you are using AICC or SCORM and sending to an LMS, you probably need to look at your publishing settings. When you go to publish and choose LMS, at the bottom right there is a reporting and tracking button. You should be able to select how you want it to show completion as well as how they system can "tell" it's complete - by # of slides viewed or quiz results if you have one.

Check out the reporting and tracking section here: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-360/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-publish-a-course-for-lms#step6
