I am trying to provide hyperlinks on a slide to documents that are also in my Resources tab. The hyperlink creates a trigger tat provides a Jump to URL/File when the user clicks. But, when i publish the course, a click on the hyperlink does nothing/document does not open. but, if I click the link fro the Resource tab, it opens fine.
They are stored locally on my computer. But, I thought they would get transferred to the published storyline file, as they do when linked to the Resources tab.
In addition to what Jesse said, I thought this info from Articulate Support, which provides info on linking to resources/attachmets from a slide, might help.

Where do those documents currently live? Are they on your local computer or on a network or on the web?

You're right. They do get transferred. What is the current path to the file that you are using for the hyperlink?
I would try to link from your local drive. It has worked for me.
