Help with Previous and Next

I imported a couple of template slides and all is well except for the Previous and Next buttons. This is the only slide that does not have the buttons. I have tried making the changes in Player without success. Any suggestions?

Have you tried adding them in story view on the bottom right hand corner?
Are their triggers on the slide that set them to hidden when the timeline starts?
