Help with Triggers

Set all the layers to Hide other Layers (in the video, the creation of the first layer will show you how to do this.) Then change all the triggers from Hide layer to "Show layer 1 when slider moves if slider 1 is = to 1, etc. Showing a layer will hide the others.

I'm sorry, I don't understand.  

There is not slider on the slide.

Slide 1.3, Role of the teacher. I presume that is where the problem is.

When my professor and I published it to see if it worked, the videos did not work.  The embed code did not work.  The whole slide does not work.  

As for the slide before, it won't work either.  Any way you can call me and walk me through it? 

slide 1.3 is and has been working now since Sunday.  The new problem is slide 1.6 and 1.8.  

On 1.6, if you want to disable the Next button, keep this trigger,

but if you also want to show the student helping student layer, you need to add a trigger to do that:

I would also suggest putting text on the buttons so the user knows to click them.

On 1.8, this trigger is the problem. It shows the layer with Rita, but before she can play, it shows the gang layer. Delete the second trigger.  

There seems to be a delay...the message above says a moment ago at 12:37, ...my clock says 1:00 am.  That may be why it seems so off.   

If you look at the slide 1.6, I got it while I was waiting.  I disabled it.  Now, the new problem is to stop the loop.  The slides keep repeating.

For some reason, I am unable to enable the button again.  I say, 
Change the state of the button to normal when the user clicks ....I want to say all: buttons 1,2,3,4,5, but only button 1 and button 5 show up.  I've changed it about 20 times but it does not acknowledge buttons 2 - 4...why?  

Right click the gang video, and choose web object- edit. then choose test, and you will get this message:

Youtube won't allow it to be embedded. Use the trigger "Jump to URL" instead of embedding a web object.

I suspect the same may be true of Rita.

I get the message on my phone before the computer.  I went into slide 1.8 and deleted the gang member video already.  Damn.  Now what?

Ok, I did what you said and everything was there...except "jump to URL".  

I right clicked the gang video.  I chose web object -edit (to the left), I chose test (under it), I saw the message, but how to and where do I hit the "jump to url"  instead of embedding a web object?  I don't see it.    

I'm so sorry...I am really trying, I feel like such a dunce!

sorry I had an appointment and I see Walt has been helping you -  where are you up to with the file now? Can you upload the latest version with any changes you and Walt have made and let me know which slides aren't working and what the issue is.

Ok, I put the text box in that says view video, I created a trigger.  I don't know how to find jump to url,  all i could do was show layer "video - gang leader" when user clicks text box, but how do I find "jump to url?"  

When I click trigger, I see show layer, change the state of.....no jump to url...please advise.

now on slide 1.6, it keeps looping, I can't enable the next button again and for 1.8, we can't get the video to show, walt was saying to use "jump to url" but I can't find it anywhere...I am getting sooooo tired of all this...I have been working on these two slides for over 3 hours!

I know, I'm so tired too....thank for your help....parting words could be where the jump to url are?

Any ideas?  This is turning into a real team effort!  Can you see the updated version?  I will attach the latest...
