Sometimes my team wants to send parts of a course to clients without showing the whole work-in-progress course. Right now we're saving the file as a new file, and deleting the rest of the scenes we want to hide. Is there a way to hide a scene, rather than having to do this work around? It would really help with version control.
If you are sending the published version to your client for preview then the easiest way to hide the scene from the story is to remove it from the menu bar of the file and also remove the triggers related to that particular scene.
In addition to saving a new file and deleting the other slides, you could import just those slides into a new Storyline file as described here. Depending on how much you have to delete - this may be quicker.

Hope that will be useful for you.
