I frequently have the situation where my base layer contains many, many objects. I also have layers that only need to see one or two of those objects. I select "hide objects on base layer" and then re-open just the object that I need...BUT...ALL of the objects are re-opened. This leaves you with the only option of closing each object again one by one, on each layer that is involved.
Has anyone else had this problem?
