Hiding Previous Answers on Quiz for First Attempt

Feb 05, 2018

Hello all!

We have many quizzes with Multiple Choice and Multiple Response questions where the user has 2 Attempts to get the answers correct.  Our Subject Matter Experts would like to hide the Learner's first attempt selections when they click the Try Again button and go to input their second attempt.  Is there an automatic way to do this - some blanket preference setting? - or is this only possible by adding triggers to hide each of the radio button/checkbox selections to each question on the Try Again layers?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Hi Katherine

you could set the Try Again trigger to 'jump to slide' with the slide set to 'reset to initial state' but then you would need triggers to 'count' the number of times the user attempted the question.

IMHO the quickest would be to set a trigger to change state of all radio buttons (would be a trigger for each radio button) when user clicks Try Again button on condition the radio button was = selected.
