Hello! I've created some button sets that I'm trying to have show up as highlighted once they have been 'visited' or maybe even 'selected'. I have tried to do this with triggers but it won't recognize my button sets (even though they have been named), it will only recognize pieces of the set such as a picture. Even when applying triggers to the individual pieces of the button set, the triggers don't work. Can someone please help? Thanks!
Good luck, I have had nothing but trouble with button states. If I use the built in generic buttons, no problem. Any custom buttons and the button states just decide to do what ever they want. If you use the visited or selected state, it will show the image in that state, (this has worked for me) however, if you have a trigger somewhere that sets that button to normal or another state after you have visited it, it will no longer show the visited or selected state when you return. (It acts as if it was refreshed)
A button set is only there to ensure one button of the set can be selected at anytime. You cannot access a button set from a trigger.
As far as using visited and selected together with a button set, once clicked a button will always be visited but it will also be selected. When you click another button that one will become selected and the previous button willow only be selected.
Setting a button to normal will remove its visited and selected state.
