I am also interested in this as well. This exact thing. Something like highlight the introduction of the main subject in a paragraph...Anyone have any ideas?!
I thought this was a great idea! I have already been playing around with this idea for a project of mine.
I used a fact vs. opinion example using the pick many freeform question with a combination of rectangles and freeform shapes to surround the parts of the text I wanted.
Each rectangle then has a selected state with a bright yellow rectangle that I then set to have a 13-pixel soft edge and fit that over the text to resemble a highlighter.
Clicking on each rectangle will change the state to selected and reveal the highlight.
