Hover State
Jun 24, 2016
I've created an Instruction that only appears when the user hovers over a link. See here:
Problem is that the link launches a video that's on a layer in this slide. When the video finishes an returns to the base layer, however, the Instruction is still up and won't come down. It's no longer subject to the "hover" trigger. I assume I need to create a new trigger to hide the object, but what condition should trigger it? And on which layer? Thanks!

Hi Eric
Try trigger
change state of instruction to normal when media completes (video)
Thanks, Wendy. I tried that but since the video is not on the base layer, the Trigger Wizard doesn't see it.
I've uploaded my files if that makes things easier...
Did you select Restore on mouse leave in the trigger wizard?
I did. And that works great until the user clicks and the video starts. Then when the video completes, it's up permanently.
Wendy's right. Layers are all part of the base slide, and the wizard sees items on the base.
The reason it didn't work is that the layer is set to hide objects on the base layer, so they don't respond to triggers. When I didn't hide objects on the base layer, Wendy's idea worked for me.
THanks, Walt! You guys are awesome!
