How can we stop the slide from zooming out in Storyline?

May 30, 2012

Hello Articulate Heroes,

I have a doubt about Articulate Storyline's zoom region option. One characteristic I happened to notice is that if we apply the zoom region option, an automatic zoom out also is taking place after the zoom in. Does anyone know how can we stop the screen from zooming out? I want only zoom in, not zoom out. Or can we make the slide jump to the next slide before it gets zoomed out? One method I can think of is to place an invisible object in the timeline and trigger the slide jump to the next slide before the zooming out process starts. Any other solution, or any hidden easy way to resolve this?

Thank You

Welcome to the community, Lyndsey!

Have you tried right-clicking on the "Zoom" in your timeline and selecting "Show Until End"?

Also, does your zoom region start at the beginning of the timeline, or at a certain point within the timeline?

If you still have trouble with this, and you can share your .STORY file here, we can try to take a look and see what's happening.

Thanks and welcome again!
