How do I remove shadow from Quiz Text?

Jul 11, 2014

This should be simple, but I can't find the answer.

When I create a quiz question, the text looks like it has a shadow only when previewed or published.

When I highlight the text in edit mode, it does not appear shadowed at all and the shadow formatting button tells me it is not shadowed. I even tried selecting text and using the "clear formatting" button but that did not change anything. When I preview/publish it still looks shadowed.

This only applies to the answer choices in multiple choice.

It does not apply to the question text, just the possible answers text.

?????

Thanks!

Hi Rick,

I'm not seeing the same thing on my end when previewing:

Are you able to post a .story file for the project? I'd be happy to take a look.

Also, if the file is large, it may help to import just that question into a new file. That way we can focus on that content and won't need to worry about the file limits of the forums.

From what I'm seeing in your screenshot, it looks like the radio buttons also have some shadowing applied. It may help to check the entire slide for any shadow effects. If you still don't have any luck, please consider sharing the file.

Thanks!

Hi Rick,

Looks like I may have been correct with the radio buttons. The effect applied to the buttons you have, is also applying to the text.

Here's how it looks when I remove the shadowing from the last button:

And here's how it looks after removing the shadows from all of the radio buttons:

I'm attaching the modified version of the file, just in case you want to take a look at the changes or compare the files.

Let me know if this looks the same on your end.

Thanks!
