How to disable / reduce the context menu (right-click menu) for published SWF projects

Hi, Sebastian -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot of the menu you are describing? And can you please share a bit more about the environment in which you are testing your output? 

The context menu looks like this:

It appears when right-clicking the SWF file. 

I'm testing on a Windows 8 system in various browsers.

Thanks for sharing that image. There isn't a way to disable that in Storyline as it's specific to the users browser and Windows environment, so I'd have to defer to the community for suggestions on ways to stop the user from seeing that. 

Ashley, are you sure about that?

Storyline handles the SWF file in the story.html file and starts it in the configured environment. It also sets width, height, alignment, window settings and so on.

There should be some setting in there turning the menu off.

I'm sure there isn't a way to turn it off within Storyline - as for editing the code, that's something I wouldn't even know where to begin, nor am I able to assist with. Hopefully someone in the community can assist with that! 

Add trigger:

Execute Javascript when slide timeline begins:

document.addEventListener('contextmenu', event => event.preventDefault());
