I have been asked to embed an interaction ( spreadsheet with a chart is doing it now ) in an elearning module that will generate a spider graph from the respondents answers to a series of likert scale responses...anyone have an idea how to make that happen?
I wanted to welcome you to the E-Learning Heroes community, and I hope that this is something the community can help you figure out, as it sounds like a big undertaking!
To get you started, you can insert a Google doc, spreadsheet or form into Storyline, and you may want to use this to capture your data instead of the built in Likert scale questions, but the ability to then generate a graph from that data that resides in Storyline is beyond my expertise.
My data in the excel file wasn't going to change so i used a screen capture and turned the spreadsheet and chart into a picture and placed the picture in articulate. I tried the google doc embedding and I didn't like the look and wasn't able to line it up with other items on the screen the way I wished.
If something has changed in the last 3 years and I can put the actual excel chart in, please let me know.

Thanks for that tip, Shelley! Inserting a chart as an image is a great solution. What version of Storyline are you using?
