I have a storyline output where it works good in chrome than firefox brower. Now i should get a dialogue box saying that "This Module is best viewed in Google chrome" ,the dialogue box should only appear if the user tries to open in firefox and then module has to be played.
You may want to share what version of Storyline you're using so that folks can help you with this custom set up!
If you'd like to tell me a bit more about what isn't working, I'm happy to help you figure out how to have Storyline work better with your browser (or at least confirm if that's expected based on your set up!).
Keep in mind, Storyline's supported browsers are outlined below for Flash and HTML5, and with the latest versions of Storyline we have increased our HTML5 support:
I am using storyline 3. If the Storyline output is viewed in Firefox then i should get a pop up saying that "The project is best viewed in Chrome" and then the project should continue playing.
Rashmitha, there is code out there that will detect the browser being used to view your course. I have a sample project file here that demonstrates that. Let me know if you would like to see that or if you need help troubleshooting code that you wrote.

Hi Michael ,
Can i get that sample project file.So it will be helpful for my project.
Rashmitha, the project I created only detects whether or not the client is using a smartphone, so that one won't work for you. I did find another project someone else created that should give you the browser name though. https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/demo-system-and-browser-check
