How was this done? Storyline in canvas without looking like it was embedded in canvas

Mar 31, 2022

I recently came across this training video and saw that it was created in Storyline and shared in Canvas, AND can be accessed publicly without having to go through the Canvas registration system. Plus, it doesn't have the embedded look that I've seen, i.e. Storyline within Canvas interface and navigation. How did they do this?

That is interesting...the url looks like a Canvas URL, nevertheless its available without login indeed. The full page look aint to difficult...when adding a Scorm onto Canvas in the assignment options you have these options..

If you check 'Load this tool in a new tab' it will open as fullscreen page.

The public visibility of a course can be set in the settings of a course on Canvas. At our University this is locked, so i cannot test it any further.

Im not sure whether this will suffice to create a anonymous publicly available url... like the sample... i cannot test it alas.

Here some info from the Canvas forum...with some comments of people not being able to get it working either ;-)
