HTML5 users not able to review quiz

Feb 19, 2013

Hi,  I am new to Articulate Storyline, and thanks to these forums, I have been able to work out a number of issues that I have had.  I have one issue left that I have not seen an answer.  I have selected "Allow user to review quiz" on the results page.  This works well in the flash version, however, when I try to review the quiz using iPad, or any browser with no Flash plugin enabled, it is not keeping the results at all.  Has anyone else seen this before?  The LMS that we are using is Moodle.  Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Hi Tim, welcome to the community!

Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate-related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Thanks!

Hi, I'm having the same problem as well.  I have published for LMS using Tin Can and am using Litmos as my LMS. on the iPad I'm using your Mobile Player app.  Most things are working fine except when I get to the review quiz area.  It gives me the reported generic error message to check my connection to the internet, but this happens over and over again, whether I touch retry or close.  It gets locked up.  I would like to give people the option to review.  Can you please tell me what fix i can use.

Hi Peter,

I created my Scorm Cloud account and then opened it up on the iPad.  The errors were more constant that in Litmos and the review quiz allowed me to go to the first question but after that gave the same error message and prevented me from using the next button.  I noticed in Scorm Cloud that there was an error message - a Parser Warning which says that "The given tincan.xml was incompatible with latest version of the Tin Can API specification. Error was: Activity ID '5XOAHlfawE0_course_id' is not an absolute URI"

I don't know if that is important to you at all.  I do want to say that I don't work for a big company, I only have me and this is now costing me a lot of time, when I thought that with Storyline I would be able to have these modules working in HTML5 environments and particularly on the iPad quite easily.
