My project includes hyperlinks which are set up to open a new brower. However when the project is uploaded to our LMS - SumTotal Maestro 5.0 the new brower opens but removes the presentation, so you can't go back. I tested the project using the Articulate Tempshare and it worked fine, so it must be on the LMS side.
Hi, Shannon! Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! Typically, if you are utilizing an LMS and have published for SCORM, we will also recommend that you test your course via the SCORM Cloud to see if you encounter the same behavior. If all is well in the SCORM Cloud, you may want to review this article for additional insights: How to Troubleshoot Your LMS with SCORM Cloud.
Hopefully others who utilize the same LMS service can shed additional light here, and it may also be helpful to reach out to SumTotal directly for their input, as well. :)
Hi Christie, thank you for the information. I just tried the SCORM cloud and it behaves the same way - hyperlinks to websites open new browser, but the original presentation disappears.
Hi, Shannon -- Thanks for your reply! Would it be possible for us to take a look at your file and do some testing on our end? Please use this form to share for private review and we'll be in touch with our discoveries as soon as possible. :)
